Materials:
- Crochet hook 3.75mm/ 5.00 mm
- 5 Colors Medium weight yarn
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Abbreviations:
ch - Chain
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
2 dc bobble - 2 dc together
sl st - slip stitch
st(s) - stitch(es)
Rep - repeat
Round 1 : (Yarn A) make magic ring, ch 1, 8 sc in the ring, close the magic ring, slst to the first sc, fasten off.
Round 2 : (Yarn B) Join the yarn in any st , ch 2, 1 dc in the same st, ch1 [ 2 dc bobble next st, ch1 ] Rep [] slst on top of ch3 [8 bobble] fasten off.
Round 3 : (YarnC) Join the yarn on top of dc bobble, sc in the same st, [in the next ch space slst + ch3 + 3 dc bobble + ch 3 + slst, sc next st ] Rep [] (8 patals) slst to the first sc, fasten off
Round 4 : (YarnD) Join the yarn on top of sc, ch1, [sc, ch 2 , sc next st, ch 3] Rep [] slst to the first sc, slst to the next ch 2 space.
Round 5 : (YarnD) ch3 (count as dc), [ (2 dc + ch1) in the ch 2 space, (3 dc + ch 2 + 3 dc + ch 1) in the next ch 3 space] Rep [] slst on top of ch3, fasten off.
Round 6 : (YarnE) Join the yarn in ch space, ch3 (count as dc), [3 dc in ch space, 3 dc in the next ch space, (3 dc + ch2 + 3 dc) in the next ch2 space] Rep slst on top of ch 3, fasten off.
The pattern is done here, but if you want to make your granny square bigger just repeat round 6 ( 3 dc in space between 3dc cluster and in the corner add ch2)
