Laminated fabric is usually a high-quality cotton coated with a light layer of polyurethane film. It’s thin, flexible, and drapes well. It’s ideal for projects you want to have water-resistant properties but also remains lightweight and flexible with a pleasing drape.

Make straps 

1. Fold the fabric in half along the length and press with your iron

2. Fold again – this time fold each side towards the center seam.  Press again

3. Fold again along the initial fold. Press the fold. Your strap is almost complete

4. Place the strap into your sewing machine and edgestitch along each side

Bag part 

Fold the long piece in half with the right sides together stitch down the side using a 1/4″ seam. Turn the right side out and press flat.

Turn right side out and press flat. Stitch down the side again using a 1/4″ seam.

Turn the wrong side out and cut out 5”x5” on the corner

---

match up the bottom

---

Turn down the top edge 1-2 inches double Fold and topstitch

---

Use wonder clips to hold handle ends in place

---

Sew handles down in a rectangle and sew the X in the middle and now the bag is Done!
