HB76 Felt Eggplant

🧵 Materials

• Purple felt (BUY HERE)

• Green felt  (BUY HERE)

• Embroidery floss/thread

• Polyfill stuffing (BUY HERE)

• Sewing machine

• Hand-sewing needle

• Scissors

• Pins or clips (optional)

✂ Cutting Guide

1. Eggplant Body Cut 2

2. EggplantTopper Cut 1

3. Eggplant Stem Cut 1

Felt Eggplant Instructions

Step 1 – Sew the Dart

Sew the dart closed at the bottom of each eggplant body piece.

Wrong side.

Right side.

Step 2 – Sew the Body

Place the body pieces right sides together.

Side.

Stitch around the eggplant, leaving the top opening unstitched. Leaving the long tail of thread for sewing the top part.

Step 3 – Turn, Stuff and close the opening

Turn it inside out.

Stuff firmly with polyfill.

And stitch the opening close

Eggplant body is done.

Step 4 – Make the Stem

Roll the green stem piece tightly.

Stitch in place to secure the roll.

After stitching (I use blanket stitch)

Step 5 – Attach the Stem

Position roll stem on the of green calyx eggplant topper and stitch them in place.

Step 6 – Attach the topper

Put the green calyx eggplant topper On op of the eggplant..

Stitch to  secure it in place.

Your felt eggplant is finished! 🍆
